Bluesky, the decentralized Twitter/X alternative, has updated its impersonation policy.   The updated policy is more aggressive and will remove accounts involved in impersonation and handle squatting.   Bluesky is working with high-profile accounts to help them set up verified domain handles.   Meer tonen The social network is exploring ways to enhance account verification and will share updates in the future.   Bluesky has quadrupled the size of its moderation team to quickly process impersonation reports.   The updated policy requires parody, satire, and fan accounts to clearly label themselves to alert users that they are not official.   Identity churning, the process of changing an account's identity to mislead users, is also on Bluesky's radar.
